Fans of outdoor activities will find that there are many leisure activities to pursue, while the beach is only 15 kilometres away. Alhaurin el Grande is a pretty town with whitewashed houses and colourful shutters. There are a number of attractions, including the 12th century Moorish Archway, the old Arabic fort and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, with its Roman columns and town church.
